This Memorial Day marks the inaugural year of Vet Fest; a veteran event committed to recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of both our active-duty military and veterans. This exciting event is not just about running; it’s about honoring our veterans and supporting the incredible organizations that serve them.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out, there's something for everyone at Vet Fest 5K. Let’s make this event an unforgettable celebration of courage and community!

Location: Tradition Square or Clover Field
Time: Packet pick up at 6:00 am the day of the race. Race begins at 7:00am

Bike Run

Military / SWAT Static Display K9 Demonstration

Get your motorcycle ready and join us for a bike run that helps our most needy veterans. This year Vet Fest will partner with Vinnie's Wounded Vet Run for a motorcycle run along the Tresure Coast.

Vinnie's Wounded Vet Run is a non-profit organization that was founded to assist those veterans who have sustained Traumatic Brain Injuries. The foundation donates its proceeds to helping further Traumatic Brain Injury victims and research.

Military / SWAT Static Display K9 Demonstration

Take a look behind the scenes and experience the power of our police SWAT static display area.

Get up close with this incredible vehicle that serves our police SWAT teams in time of need.

Get ready for an action-packed K9 demonstration showcasing the incredible skill, discipline, and teamwork of these highly trained dogs and their handlers!

Watch as they perform real-world police and military tactics, from obedience drills to suspect apprehension and explosive detection.

Whether you just love big machines or an animal lover, this is a must-see event for all ages!

#DoYouGiveARuck? hosts road marches that challenge you both physically and mentally while making a real difference for those in need.

Ruck marches are a core part of Infantry life, and now you have the opportunity to experience what U.S. Soldiers go through while supporting a great cause.

Pack your rucksack with essential items—soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, socks, underwear, laundry detergent—and help provide much-needed supplies to veterans in need. Every step you take and every item you carry makes a direct impact on their lives.

Lace up your walking shoes, load up your pack, and ruck with us on a "leisurely" hike around Mid Florida Event Center!

Jeep Show and Shine

The Jeep Show and Shine will be shining bright at Vet Fest.

It doesn't matter if you're an off-road warrior or strictly an asphalt king or queen, this is an event where Jeep enthusiasts can get together, stack together and ultimately celebrate their builds alike. A $10 donation will get your rig entered and all proceeds from the Jeep show will go directly to the Korean War Veterans Treasure Coast Chapter 106.

5k Run/Walk

The 1st Annual 5K Run/Walk is set to start on 28 March 2026 at 7:00 am in Tradition Square or Clover Field in Port St. Lucie. The 5k route around the lake or stadium property is fast and fun! The top finishers from each age group will be awarded additional medals

All participants receive a t-shirt, swag, finishers medal, and refreshments. Join us for lots of fun & music. Register by Feb 20th, 2026, and pay only $40; $45 after that until race day.

There is no substitute for blood, and it cannot be manufactured in a lab. The only source for patients in need of a transfusion is volunteer blood donation.

Vet Fest is proud to partner with the Treasure Coast Food Bank to support local families in need. We invite all attendees to bring non-perishable food items to the event as part of our effort to fight hunger right here at home. All donations stay in St. Lucie County and directly benefit families in our community. Together, we can make a real difference—one can at a time.
